Because, honestly, The Chronicles of Master Li and Number Ten Ox are well worth the re-up. It’s a shame we didn’t get more than three of these books from Barry Hughart, but at least we got three. That’s a net gain for the universe.

FWIW, I highly, highly recommend Mr Hughart’s books.
I have these in e-book format. Very good, although imo the third one is weaker than the first two.
