That’s *really* bad.
The apartment complex I just moved out of had gated doors–you need an RFID key fob to unlock them from the outside, and there are buttons or handles on the inside. In most cases, said button is 7-8′ back, and covered with a shield to prevent people with a long stick from doing that. (So a few months ago, some jackwagon moved in and physically broke the electromagnet–three times so far!–on the door I use, and which goes straight to the pool. I hope when they are caught they’re evicted AND charged with everything they could be charged with.)
