Among other things. The book is approaching that stage where I hate the sight of it and am ready to cast it into the sun. I gather that this is a normal part of the creative process, though. One hopes, at least…

I feel your pain. I’m on my sixth pass through my book. The proofreader identified a problem with chapter 11 that required a lot of extra attention, but I think it’s reading a lot smoother now. I just have to remember that what I am doing separates me from the vast majority of other writers, and only that extra effort is going to make my book stand out.
It still takes a lot out of a fellow, though.
