…may now politically die by them.
And how tragic, if that ends up being the case. Come, I will conceal nothing from you: this Twila Barnes individual comes across as having a chip on her shoulder, her nose out of joint, sore elbows from all the jabbing that she does with them, a permanent restless tremor in her knee, and… :snapping fingers: a perfectly toned spleen from all the exercise Barnes gives it! Betcha thought I couldn’t come up with another body-themed descriptor there, huh?
Well, I am a sexy shoeless god of war.
Anyway. I cannot say that I particularly approve of the way that Ms. Barnes is having what is essentially a snit-fit on the topic of Elizabeth Warren’s “questionable” Cherokee status; but then I don’t really care all that much, either. I’m not quite at the rooting-for-injuries level, but I can see it from here.
Moe Lane
I took a quick look at the only alternative Democrat (they can still bail on Warren). She’s running to the left of Warren.
Nice own goal.
NSBS: It is impressive, isn’t it? If this keeps up, I will start assuming that Scott Brown simply has a mystical ability to attract the absolutely worst possible alternatives.
I’m actually very much on the side of Barnes here. See, I actually AM a registered member of an Indian tribe (not Cherokee), and can legitimately claim to be multi-racial. My native heritage is the source of some pride to me. So in addition to finding Warren’s claims laughable, I also find them as offensive as Barnes does. There’s a very personal component to my dislike of Lizzie Warren — she stole something that wasn’t hers, but was partly mine, and then she repeatedly doubled down on the theft.
Fair enough, Demosthenes. My issue with Barnes is largely in the way that she’s expressing herself; or more accurately, how I’m deducing her personality, based on how she’s expressing herself.
No, fair enough. I can certainly see that.
I think it’s deeper than that. Massachusetts is NOT a far left state! Our economy is growing. We’ve managed our budget responsibily. Because we ALWAYS vote for the Democrat for president, and our congressional delegation is ALL Democrats (save Brown, of course), people make assumptions. Chief among the victims of this set of assumptions is the Democratic Party itself, who believe this is a far left state, instead of what it really is: A state with a rich tradition of Democratic leadership.
