Yeah, I’m thinking Barack Obama didn’t really think that Joe Biden saved the re-election campaign last night:
A buddy of mine online called this ‘phoning it in,’ and I agree: that’s precisely the email that you put out when your guy has fouled up messaging, but you can’t admit it. The man couldn’t even say that Joe Biden did a good job!

PS: This is what the GOP had to say on the subject of Joe’s performance, starting about thirty seconds after the debate was over:

The technical term for this is ‘contrast.’ And there’s quite a bit of it.
Nice!
I would argue that Biden’s performance was better than Obama’s but that is not too high a hurdle to vault over.
Team Obama has some explaining to do: Was this malarkey or “other stuff” from Biden last night?
A winner doesn’t need someone to have his back.
Cameron, a turd sandwich isn’t any better just because there’s more turd on it! 😀
Fair enough, benning. Right now, I’m just enjoying the looks on reporters’ faces when they realize that they can’t cover for the administration any longer.
I keep arguing with myself. “Don’t get cocky!” “Yeah, but, the fog is lifting. Preference cascade. Americans can read and the Interweb and stuff.” Ultimately. The key at this point is to ensue the results are far beyond the margin of fraud.
