This one:
…which I purchased for her out of the funds available to me from the Tip Jar. She was very happy to get this, and I was happy to purchase it for her.
That’s pretty much it. Thanks for supporting the site to the point where I can occasionally buy my wife random science-fiction themed coffee mugs.

Just read Shadow Ops: Fortress Frontier.
.
Was all set to write a rave review, and had gotten to the point of ‘Why aren’t you reading it?’ before noticing that the thread is closed. I guess it is one week rather than two?
.
Anyway, I had good fun with the second book. Still an excellent cast, good crunchy stuff, and I like the magic system.
Hrm. I’ll need to check; the spam was getting bad before I switched over to a registration system (primary reason why I switched over, in fact).
As to why I haven’t bought it yet: I have a very complex budgeting system based on four different and imperfectly interchangeable revenue streams when it comes to luxuries. 🙂
You’re welcome! You know, one of these days you should write a post to explain how, after 1000+ hours, you can *still* play Skyrim.
Easy: it’s a good way to blow off steam while I’m waiting for something else and I don’t feel like reading.
I like that mug. I want that mug. I want to know, though, that it’s durable before I shell out for it….
.
Would you mind posting a “wife’s review” after a month or so?
.
Mew
Walp… it’s a ten buck mug. Don’t expect miracles. 🙂
I don’t expect it to survive combat, Moe.
.
I’ve had some ten buck mugs that last for a decade, and some that are done after the second trip thru the dishwasher… if this is in the former category, it’s going on the “order” list… otherwise, it’s not.
.
So.
.
If it survives two trips through your dishwasher, let me know?
.
Mew
It’s explicitly suggested that you don’t run this sucker through the dishwasher.
Oh, it’s one of *those*. Yeah, it’d never last more than a year around here.
.
Mew
From what I’ve seen, If you have kids it would stand a better chance of surviving combat………..
