Curse you, Perry the Platypus!*

*Too early to call this one a Classical Reference, but it will be.
Blog commenting will be easier now that I have my referencinator.
Are we allowed to +1 here? 🙂
OWCA is the best secret group name ever.
Keep in mind that when someone says “PepsiCo”, they mean Pepsi, Frito-Lay (so Fritos corn chips *and* Lays potato chips) and Tropicana and Quaker (yep, Pepsi owns ’em) and several other brands.
.
The same is true for Coca-Cola, of course, I just remember more of the Pepsi ones off the top of my head.
.
So .. if you really do plan on avoiding ’em .. best learn to cook.

Looks like Vox Day reads this blog some. He also has some advice about what to do with this list of names.

Contact these firms, ask them if they endorse these PP statements, and only ask them that.
Interesting.
.
I consider Vox to be … well, let’s say my opinions are heavily informed by his behavior during “sad puppies/rabid puppies” .. and not favorable.
.
That said, he’s got this right .. *exactly* right.
.
Seek a comment from these firms, try to get ’em on the record, *do not* indicate *anything* about your own position… put them in the spotlight, keep yourself in the shadows….

As a longtime Larry Correia fan, let me remind you that Sad Puppies and Rabid Puppies were two different, independent campaigns that only shared a common goal of exposing the Social Justice Jihadist B-tchy Little Girls of the sci-fi hoi-polloi for precisely what they are. 🙂
Right on re the strategy, expose them without showing yourself.
Also a Larry Correia fan, understand they are separate campaigns, consider Vox Day to have .. your terms not mine .. overexposed himself …
.
Otherwise .. yeah.

Vox Day is a primordial evil who made special rings to enslave the no longer entirely alive members of the Evil League of Evil.

Our friend the cat is a barfly, and a barfly can take offense at statements made about Baen authors without necessarily being a SJW. I’m fond of Bujold myself.
Being fond of Bujold is a smart way to go through life, honestly.
Indeed. I’m pleasantly surprised, ever now and then, to see an argument one of her characters made in someone elses’ mouth ..

Just left a message on the March of Dimes website. Called the local number.
Said I had read a report they supported Planned Parenthood and asked if they did.
Shocked.
I had given up supporting Susan G. Komen a couple of years ago.
The Daily Signal story has been updated to include responses from Ford and Xerox: those companies say they were erroneously listed by Planned Parenthood as contributors and have contacted PP to have their names removed from the PP website. The new Daily Signal headline now refers to “39 companies”.
