The next Fallout 4 DLC drops next week.

April 12th, and… I’m not so sure I approve of all of this, on an ethical level.

Also: I may not have the room for some of this stuff.  I’m kissing the upper limits of settlement development in a lot of my places as it is.

PS: I wonder if I should ever play the earlier games. I mean, I don’t have time to play all the games that I have now.

  1. I really really liked Fallout New Vegas, and now that it is both cheap and fully patched, definitely!

    1. Yes. Yes you should.
I liked New Vegas much more than 3. The world was just so much more interesting. (Also, the 3 supplement “The Pitt” is supposed to give you a major moral quandary. I found about this after the fact, you see, I shot the villain while he was monologuing about “how I didn’t understand”. He was right. Fat lot of good it did him. Also, the power creep in the 3 supplements is just ridiculous. Inbred moonshiners are dozens of times more dangerous than Super Mutants.)

  2. I could go on and on about why, but the short answer is: yes, you should.

  3. My favorite note today was Brian Fargo, of Interplay fame, noting “At least I know it’s ok if we put out Wasteland 3: Fallout Factory. ;)”
