My equally belated look at the Open Bionics / Deus EX trailer.

My reaction to this Open Bionics / Deus EX trailer was weird.

I started off by thinking that it was a trailer for the company, and then I started seeing the arms and realized that it was all done on a computer and that this was an in-universe tie-in for the upcoming game. And then I watched it some more and realized that, no, these arms were real things because the future stopped by when I wasn’t looking.  It’s all a little disconcerting and a bit surprising and very, very cool.

And probably safer than flying cars anyway.  Alas.
