You know, if the New York Times is going to write a piece on Andrew Breitbart that features a largely unfavorable set of quotes from one James B McPherson, they should at least have the elementary politeness to mention that:
- McPherson wrote a book with Sid Blumenthal (The Conservative Resurgence and the Press: The Media’s Role in the Rise of the Right (Medill School of Journalism Visions of the American Press));
- Sidney Blumenthal’s been an enemy of Breitbart’s for the last decade;
- A perusal of McPherson’s blog indicates that, for somebody supposedly interested in objective journalism, he likes to call people names and babble about conspiracy theories;
- And that Sid’s kid Max has got his own issues (read: ‘spanking’) from Breitbart’s organization.
