I can understand the decision, obviously. If I was in Henry Cavill’s place I’d make the same one. But Gabe’s right: there will be lamentations over this.

The DC Fandome Superman Radio Drama revival.

Listening to FanDome’s Superman Radio Show now. It’s fun! Although GeekTyrant is correct; the sound quality needs a little work*. And I wasn’t aware how remarkably mad-sciency Jor-El was in the original. But I’m always up for a good Superman story.

*The ads might be annoying, too.

Hollywood can’t figure out Superman, and it’s their own damned fault.

GeekTyrant gets it where apparently Hollywood doesn’t, or at least GT gets a lot of it and I’m not going to quibble on the rest*:

Superman is a genuinely good person and a beacon of hope who uses his power to help people and keep the world safe and he also holds others with power accountable for their actions. How can they not see the relevance of that!?
