  1. Well, that swept away my cobwebs and put a big smile on my face. Hope it did the same for you.

  2. Feeling slightly sad for Gator .. he’s gonna have to actually *work*, not just sip coffee ..

  3. Mildly enjoyable. Still wish Rubio hadn’t giving up his seat for a likely fruitless run at the WH. His only realistic shot is at a VP nod and he could have had that with out giving up his seat and Gov. Scott would have appointed his successor (unless of course, Jeb gets the nomination, then he can’t be VP constitutionally). I’m frankly tired of conservative Senators giving up on the Senate. DeMint left for Heritage with mixed electoral results, Brownback left to become Gov, and others. How are we to fix the R senate caucus if the new guys we send don’t stick around but the bad ones do?

    1. The only upside of a failed Rubio WH run would be the prospect of him running against Nelson next time he’s up for election.

      1. *Has* Rubio given up his seat? I understood he had until early 2016 to get his name on the Senate ballot ..

    2. Rubio hates the Senate. He’ll go for the open FL Gov in 2018 if he’s not in the White House.
