Got nothing tonight, sorry.

Some days inspiration simply does not strike.  On the other hand, we got the kids’ Halloween costumes situated and I was able to finish the book I was reading*, so it wasn’t a bad day, either.  That’s how it rolls around here, somewhere.

*SM Stirling’s The Sea Peoples is not exactly a Cthulhu/Hastur Mythos story; it’s horror as Robert Howard would have liked it, not Robert Chambers.  Also, after reading that one particular passage about that one particular boat I rather want to smash in the King in Yellow’s face so hard that it’ll be excreting pieces of the Pallid Mask for the next month. Some things are simply not done, even by a sleeping god.

In the Mail: The Sea Peoples.

SM Stirling’s The Sea Peoples is a day early, because Amazon works when the Post Office doesn’t. I can’t help but think that the Post Office should worry about that more. Or that I think that Amazon’s more reliable about things, too.

Anyway…
