Yes, it was a Pachelbel Canon in D Major sort of night. Trying to convince the child that yes, he wanted to sleep in his big-boy bed for the first time.

Thanks for this – I came across this just in time to play it on my laptop for my two little ones to help them sleep. Perfect.
That’s a good one, of course Every song is Pachelbel’s Canon in D Major.
how old is he?
we went ahead and got our (barely) 2 year old a twin bed instead of a toddler bed, straight from the crib (he was getting out regularly and in danger of hurting himself) and he took to it no problem, loved it from the start. It was a bare-bones, not even a headboard, used bed and mattress/box we got for nothing, so it wasn’t a theme bed or anything (I detest those anyway, especially based on films or cartoons or superheroes or whatever).
Anyway, I’ll bet he adapts quickly. Getting him to stay in it and go to sleep is another matter, of course.
Oh, he loves the bed. Perfect for storytime. Sleeping in it? We’re working on that. Complicated by new room, too.
Just over two years old, by the way.
Ours will be 4 in Sept. but here he is at 2 🙂
Cute kid. Not big on Corvettes myself, though. 🙂
It was just something fun for Dad and Son to do one weekend, I don’t think either of them are particularly huge on them either, but the little guy does love cars (thanks mostly to “Cars” and Lightening McQueen, I think).
I didn’t write that post, but not most of it has much to do with corvettes, actually, heh. Anyway, always enjoy “kid posts” and Dad-blogging 😉
