“EMS” standing for “Emergency Medical Services,” of course. Anyway, that’s the claim – and let us not pretend that the Occupy Movement has not been fully converted into a front for the blackshirt anarchists, shall we? The following will be familiar to anyone who watched how the antiwar movement got hijacked by the exact same people:
So people have to remember, this isn’t a bunch of unorganized and disorganized kids. This is Lisa Fithian, she’s the one who led the unions and the anarchists to shut down Seattle at the ’99 World Trade Organization protest in Seattle. It’s not something to play around with because when this is all said and done the FBI informants will have stopped bomb plots just as they and I did last time. And when that happens conservatives need to rally around because the left media and the entire left establishment who claims they have nothing to do with these anarchists, they will defend them and dirty the name of anybody who exposes them just as they did to me and just as they did to Andrew. They will defend their darlings and attack the character of anyone who holds them accountable and calls them out. And that’s what’s going to happen this time. We need to stand up as a movement, recognize what the threats are, and we need to defend the people who are keeping us safe and hold accountable and demand accountability for the people who are trying to interfere with our rights to assemble.
The other thing that they’re trying to do is that they have a coms group—and this is breaking news you need to know this—they have a coms group that is trying to shut down the EMS communications structure for the city. That’s really happening. They’re trying to shut down the communications structure for the city for law enforcement and emergency medical personnel.
Let leave aside for the moment the question of “What kind of malignant idiots target emergency services for a city about to be hit with a hurricane?” A more interesting question is, “What kind of purblind fool supports this kind of malignant idiots?” Why, Lizzie Warren, of course: “I created much of the intellectual foundation for what they do.” She’s since then backtracked as much as any Democrat dares do on supporting the Occupiers, of course… which is to say, about one third as much as any Democrat must do if he or she wishes to even pretend to be a decent human being. I suggest that Lizzie Warren rectify that discrepancy, immediately.
Because once her Occupiers put humans at risk – note: ‘once,’ not ‘if’ – it will be too late.

EMS are a lot more on the ball than other units of Government, they have to be, I worked with them. So they shut down radio or phone com, Deputize bicycle messengers give them a map of last known locations and the message you want the unit to get. Not an optimal work around but it should get the job done.
One last point, Anonymous ha survived to this point because they didn’t really matter, so has OWS. They want to shut down EMS in a Major American City, that will be gone, they will be Public Enemy Number One for every police force on the Planet. The words “No where to run too, No where to hide”, come to mind. Feel Free!(I’m ex-Security, we’ll be looking for you too. Suckers!)
What kind of malignant idiots want to go to prison for [population of metro Tampa] counts of reckless endangerment? Plus I’m sure most Florida municipalities have laws on the books about interfering with EMS during an emergency such as a tropical storm or hurricane…
The same kind that think that blocking streets can stop political activity. What morons…! We’ll just go around the block and enter on the other side. Block that building, we’ll move to another. Tampa has nice facilities, I’m sure, and if things really get bad, there, they can reschedule almost immediately, to other nearby Florida cities (Naples is nice, as is Ocala) or in most Rust Belt cities, like Buffalo or Cleveland. The cash cost would be considerable, but I doubt the Republicans would knuckle under to nameless, faceless anarchists.

Plus, Catseye is right: EMS/first responders are DEDICATED. They won’t let anything stop them.
“and let us not pretend that the Occupy Movement has not been fully converted into a front for the blackshirt anarchists, shall we?”
Actually, the whole Occupy movement was never peaceful in the first place. It was always a front for the black blockers and the peaceful folks are the silent minority. And if they are stupid enough to try and pull this off and have any measure of success, then Bad Things will happen to them.
