How nice: @PPAct to helpfully attack four GOP Senators.

I’d suggest that the Senators send Planned Parenthood a fruit basket in response, but… I will not finish that sentence.

Planned Parenthood announced Tuesday that it is launching ads targeting vulnerable Republican senators over talk of defunding the organization.

The ads will run in the home states of Sens. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.), Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Pat Toomey (R-Pa.), all of whom face tough reelection races next year.

For the record: Ron Johnson is facing a tough re-election race next year.  Rob Portman and Pat Toomey are both fortunate to have retread Democratic Establishment opponents (as is Johnson, actually); Toomey in particular will be enjoying what promises to be a vicious brawl in the Democratic primary.  Kelly Ayotte doesn’t even have a formal challenger yet. At any rate, it will do none of these Senators no harm to be identified as the opponents of baby harvesters. But I guess that a corporation has to protect its bottom line, no matter how ghoulish the trade that it’s in…

  1. The affected Senators should counter by running the planned parenthood videos with a short explanation that this is why they support PP’s defunding.

  2. i’d welcome that. they just to be “inflammatory” and run ads, such as a pic of the opponent next to Herr Doktor Gosnell.
