Clinton: I’ve said that there were. And that’s under, that’s under Roe v. Wade, that there can be, uh, restrictions in the very end, uh, of, uh, you know, the third trimester.
I suspect that Team Clinton is going to frantically spin this as Sec. Clinton disastrously misspeaking and meaning ‘very end’ as a general synonym for ‘third trimester.’ Because as it stands now Hillary Clinton is apparently grudgingly admitting that perhaps the State might have an interest in preventing abortions once the baby is actually crowning. Admittedly, even this most charitable of takes still suggests that Hillary Clinton hasn’t paid any attention to either life issues or technological progress for the last forty years – go ask a pro-lifer about ‘fetal viability’ if you don’t understand what I’m talking about – but better to be thought of as ignorant and possibly senile than as, say, a monster in human form, right?
And people wonder why Team Clinton doesn’t want any debates.
