Found here. Short version… I really do wonder whether they were planning to hit somewhere else originally. And it’d be good if we worked out whether they did so plan.

I disagree that they “cooked off” early. Two points that you might have missed: 1) Farook was at this same party last year according to witnesses at the party; and 2) The Washington Tomes has a report that the day before the attack the pair acted to erase their digital footprint. I do agree they had another target in mind but I believe Farook decided to attack the party last year and everything since then can be seen as a setup for it. Except maybe the baby. I believe they were trapped in the area by the BOLO response and unfamiliarity with alternative back roads.
I find Moe’s analysis extremely persuasive and far more analytic than the pablum served up by the MSM and their experts . I find also that Catseyes above point on the digital erasure a fact that doesn’t quite fit the total picture . But a point that does fit the impromptu nature of the thing is the lack of a manifesto , some Die Die Great Satan rant . What is above all most troubling is that there appears to have been some larger cell involved , some half dozen more jihadis out in the weeds now , gone to cover , but not gone .
