…the 1962 version, of course. I am struck, on a cinematic level, at the way that they mixed the scenes and actors/actresses to establish the mood. And subtle horror of the scene, too.
You can see more of it here, which is unfortunately of lesser quality. Note how the change of viewpoint character in the flashback affects the actresses in it. A nice touch, that. Then again, The Manchurian Candidate is a great flick. They got good work out of Frank Sinatra in that one.
