The ‘Live by Night’ trailer.

I’m not actually as pumped about Live By Night as GeekTyrant is, but this does not actually look half bad.  Then again, I have had to come to the conclusion that Ben Affleck is actually a better director and actor than I had previously assumed. I mean, sorry, but Argo was really, really good.

  1. People seem to forget that Affleck has been an Academy Award-winning screenwriter for the past 20 years or so.

  2. I dunno, as an actor, Affleck has seemed to make a career by playing Ben Affleck in movies. He’s not the ‘avoid at all costs’ actor like Tom Cruise or Alec Baldwin have turned into, but he’s not particularly a draw for me.

  3. Well…as an actor, Affleck does “emotionally closed sociopath” really well. He directs well, tho’.
