The question is whether the bacterial culture was an autocratic one, ruled by the eldest members, or more democratic. And that’s waaaay too close to the p-word to continue.
Instead, I cordially invite you to the NaNo party, set to begin in just two days. Your kids could play too. There’s a Young Writer’s Program set up just for them. (They could even write their novels right on the site.)

I have a different plan for November, actually. 🙂
Any plan that gets a writer to write is a good plan. Unless it involves broken glass and lemon juice. I can’t see that working out very well.
