Night Patrol made me get all teary. Very nice piece.
Very nicely done, Moe.

A fitting tribute.

I agree. Well done.
Fine work, sir. I’m a little fuzzy as to why you are not writing books on a paying basis. Or at least looking for an agent.
Because I’m still teaching myself how to write short stories that people will buy for cash money. 🙂
Moe, you do know that the market is for longer works? Short stories are the hardest to make money from.
Yeah, I know. But I basically spent the last decade or so doing the writing equivalent of always skipping leg day: I’m over-developed in some areas, under-developed in others. It is getting easier for me to write longer stuff, though. When I started this regimen I was lucky to make a thousand words on anything. 🙂
Now, once you’ve *got* the longer works selling, the shorter works will sell in “collection form”.

See Larry Correia, who has not one but two short story anthologies scheduled over the next 2 years.

That said .. Larry is a *machine*.
