I can’t say I was first but I recommend Hemry to any and all hard mil sci fi people early and often. He’s got two other series under his real name, one was described years ago as JAG in space and the other has a Moon is a Harsh Mistress vibe, both well worth consuming.
I was among those recommending, can’t say if I was first. I buy everything he writes.
