Can’t imagine why.
“The PC version of Fallout 76, for both the B.E.T.A. and the launch, will be available only via Bethesda.net, not on Steam,” a Bethesda representative said. Bethesda marketing executive Pete Hines also tweeted about the Bethesda.net exclusivity for Fallout 76.
Oh, wait, I can. Fallout 76 isn’t Fallout 5, and I imagine that there are any number of Steam reviewers who would happily explain that to you, in great, great detail. If ever there was a title that would have been guaranteed a Mixed status on Steam the moment reviewing was possible, it’d be Fallout 76. I mean, I’m grumbling ahead of time*, and I pre-ordered the Tricentennial version.
Or maybe I’m just being cynical.
