Everybody’s freaking out that Shuri’s dusted (which doesn’t surprise me), and I was wondering where Valkyrie was myself. But it’s the presence of Pepper Potts that interests me. It’s been rumored for a while that she was going to be showing up as Rescue from the comics, and this suggests that this is true. After all, those are all powered characters, and certainly somebody with a Stark-designed suit and maybe still fire powers would qualify.
And in case anybody says ‘Happy Hogan,’ let me remind you of somebody called Freak. Do you remember him? No, wait, that’s the wrong question. Did Kevin Feige remember him? I feel that’s a much more interesting question to ask.

PS: One of the most amusing things about the MCU is that you can ask absurd questions like Will they make Happy Hogan into a rampaging, mind-stunted monster? and it still won’t be weirder than some of the things that they actually put on the screen.
