Kind of taking it easy today and tomorrow.

My wife’s home for the rest of the week, recovering from Pennsic and so forth. So I am alternating between bursts of physical labor moving newly washed or dried or folded things hither and yon, and sitting on my butt doing nothing in particular and letting the other parental unit handle routine requests. I may very well go out in the next few minutes and buy some beer, because it’s a fine day for one and I’m about to cook me up some fish sticks and whatnot.

So, hey, staycation. When I’m not moving my kid’s furniture around or putting together a trampoline. Which latter may actually be the next agenda item.

Assemble the trampoline after buying but before enjoying the beer – the things take a bit of mental sharpness to safety assemble, at least once upon a time…
    .
There should be several low-risk-of-injury repetitive tasks in the setup – get the kids to do ‘em to encourage mechanical tinkering and pride in a job well done and time working with dad.

Unless your dynamic is different and that’s fine too.
