So. JUMANJI is a video game based on a movie franchise that was supposedly based on an imaginary video game, but was actually a reboot of a previous movie that was instead supposedly based on an imaginary board game, but it was instead based on a children’s book that featured an imaginary board game. I’m not gonna lie; that’s an impressive pedigree. Not to mention a market saturation that seems almost sapient in its ability to flow into every possible niche of the entertainment consumer industry.
So will the game suck? Damned if I know.

Character models look great. I wonder if I would totally suck at playing this game? Might be worth it just for the visuals.
I think that beats out the Witcher video game that was based on the board game that was based on the video game series that was based on the book series.
On another note, your title reminded me…
For an excellent depiction of save scumming, you should check out the trailer for Desperados 3. It’s an upcoming game by the same developers that made Shadow Blades (which is a game I really enjoyed that’s basically Commandoes game-play in the early Tokugawa Shogunate).
Its like how LEGO makes minecraft themed sets.
