Of course, I live in Maryland now, which is only in the South if you’re from above the Mason-Dixon Line. We don’t really get kudzu, cottonmouths, and (thank God) fire ants. Poison ivy, sure. Everybody on the Atlantic Coast has had to deal with that, I think. But what are sand spurs? They sound… pointy.
