Things progress apace. I’ve just gotten Chapter 5 back from the editor and will be making changes accordingly. I’m mildly surprised at how little I mind having my stuff edited, but it helps to have a good one. 9 times out of 10 I wince and go Yeah, I should have done it that way to begin with. It’s very humbling.
On the Kickstarter front: we’ve hit the RPG supplement stretch goal, which means I have to add that to the to-do pile (fortunately, I am consistently hacking away at the to-do pile, so it’s not bad). At this rate we very well might hit the $3K stretch goal, and thus get the FROZEN DREAMS audiobook! Also: I’m putting together a list of add-ons. This is what I have, so far:
- Extra digital copy of FROZEN DREAMS: $4
- Extra digital copy of the Cin City map: $3
- Extra digital copy of the RPG supplement: $10
- Extra digital copy of the audio book (if it funds): $10
Other suggestions welcome. Keep in mind that I cannot afford physical merchandise, alas. I’m not going to have to dip into house funds on this thing, but right now I’m still using the Patreon/Amazon money to fund development*. Ach, well, at least this way it’s a tax write-off.

*Which is the smart thing, right? Reinvest earned money as seed money to develop the enterprise further. If I stay careful with expenses and pump revenue into production, it self-sustains and any additional revenue can be used for expansion. Eventually everything pays for itself and I make a small but steady profit.
