The VALLEY OF THE GODS trailer.

VALLEY OF THE GODS looks like a YouTube video where the director was stopped six days into filming and given both a decent CGI budget with absolutely no oversight whatsoever, and John Malkovich. Oh, and John Rhys-Davies is there, too: he was having lunch with Malkovich at the time, and asked to come along. He thought it’d be a hoot.

This is not exactly bad… OK, it looks pretty bad. But it also looks interestingly bad. Which is something, at least.

  1. > decent CGI budget

Decent is not a word I’d use to describe what I saw. Looked like it was rendered on a last generation set top box (particularly that snake limo sequence).

    1. All you need is Sam Jackson and it could be “Snake Limo on a Plane”. Would make as much sense as that trailer did.

  2. Malkovich and Rhys-Davies are two of my favorite actors and they DID catapult a car. I’d watch it.
