The sky in some parts of the Pacific coast went past ‘grim’ and are now ‘science fiction horror movie.’ The American Red Cross will let you donate directly to wildfire relief, but if you have an alternate charity in mind, don’t mind me. Also: tack on some prayers tonight. Every little bit helps.

You can have small fires controlled by sensible policies created through decades of experience, or you can make decisions based on environmental wish-casting and unicorn dreams and pray the flames never come (well, hope, not pray – none of the leftists responsible for this believe in a power higher than Government itself) .
Here’s a tip. The flames ALWAYS come.
Down here in Los Angeles county (in the valley) the air is so bad that the expected 96 degree high is probably not going to be reach because there’s just so much smoke in the air.
