I really need to sit down and watch this. And… ooh, there’s a Witcher graphic novel collection with a Mike Mignola cover. That’s worth a spot on the Wish List.

I read all the Witcher graphics about a month ago, my goodreads note on the 1st library edition (v 1-3) was “It’s quite appropriate that Mike Mignola did the cover art, since this has a very ‘medieval Hellboy’ feel to it.”
Volumes 4 and 5 are also wonderful. Volume 6 is absolute shite.
I’m going to have to get around to trying the most recent game at some point. (I tried The earlier Assassin of Kings, and got irritated enough with the janky gameplay to quit with extreme prejudice after a few hours. I also vaguely recall getting extremely exercised about sharp pieces of steel not hurting humans because of silver engraving.)
