  1. Yeah, I saw the most recent update pop up. They added a few new weapons and a handful of missions. After playing ME for a few weeks, the combat system of CP feels odd. Plus, they completely redid the skill trees so I need to check them out and see whether there are some new builds possible. It might be unpopular, but I still enjoyed Cyberpunk for what it was.

I cannot say replaying ME makes CP ‘better’. On the other hand, I cannot say replaying Mass Effect makes any modern game look good by comparison. I am debating replaying Andromeda. I just get the feeling that with ME being fresh in my memory, Andromeda’s faults will be even more evident. Hell, 3’s faults are even more evident now. Probably too much to put in a comment nominally about CP, but I was again struck by how 3’s tone is fantastic as far as setting the stage, but that the Citadel DLC, as much as I love it, completely clangs against the main game’s tone. 3 feels like a game where they laid out what they wanted to do and built the skeleton. Then they started filling it out and changed some key points after the fact. The endings now feel not like they ran out of time per se, but that they changed what they originally intended somehow.

    1. The really big news about CP – which I saw after posting – is that they finally put in modding support and tools. That has the potential to make that game explode.
