The more they thought about ‘Grievance,’ the angrier they got. Humans: you can kill ’em and they’ll get mad, but they get ten times as pissed off if you just turn them into temporary puppets for a little while. Go figure, am I right?

And angry humans should be.
This was rape – forcing peoples bodies to perform actions without their consent.
Arguably it’s in the worst class of rape – the abuse of those with no ability to consent or capacity to resist.
Cruel as it is to say, most victims can hang a little dignity on their struggle – I scratched and kicked and fought and I did not go quietly into the night.
Even that dingy dignity was denied us.
Damn right we’ll reclaim a scrap of it any way we can.
Apropos of nothing, I’ve been trying out the new video game “High on Life” for the past couple of days.
My impression: Is that fans of Tim Burton will probably love the game.
It’s competently done.
About the only negatives I note are long load times (but I’m still on the old Gen), that I want to remap buttons (clicking right stick to melee is awkward), and that the grapple mechanic is contextual instead of universal (You can grapple here, but not there, even though they look exactly the same, for level design and level gating purposes.)
But the sense of humor just isn’t clicking with me. It reminds me of Mars Attacks. A lot.
Don’t forget that segment of humanity who would leave revenge to others, and take an interest in how to do it for *themselves.*
