“Star Truck” implies that maybe the answer to the Fermi Paradox is that nobody will really care about us until we get out here on our own. And even then it’ll be reduced to, “What kind of gimcracks do you have? These, huh? Can you make a million of these by next month?”
Which is maybe not bad.
