If I have to review the FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S Honest Trailer, then you get to sit through it, too. And I did have to review it. My youngest adores this franchise. I’ll likely see this damned movie at least five times.

I thought my middle kid had replaced her FNAF obsession with her Hololive obsession, but it came roaring back.
She loved the flick.
They respected the lore. (There were evidently a couple minor deviations, but those were evidently made with intention and showed respect for the fandom.)
Can’t give you a firsthand impression. She insisted on dragging her mother. (Who was not overly thrilled.)
Doesn’t even have to win the Normie mass-generic audience to succeed. Amazing what happens when you Respect The Lore™.
Rather, just find the adopters that didn’t hate the source material. Just look at Rings of Power, The Witcher, Wheel of Time and Cowboy Bebop. Look at One Piece that’s done by show runner that like the manga/anime.
It’s always been an interesting if somewhat derivative franchise — fortunately I’m not obligated to sit through the movie.
I would like for it to Not Suck… not because I care about the franchise but because if they can get it right, other franchises (see BigFire’s list .. add Gatchaman, others) can get good reboots.
