Tweet of the Day, You’d Have To Play It Totally Straight edition.

It won’t work unless you play it totally straight.

  1. I’d want it to be a miniatures war game but either way I’d play it like a shot. I could see it as having potential both as a planet side campaign (meat or metal you’re still going to need infantry!) or as a space armada campaign).

And why would we have any problem playing this straight? Compared to Snits and Snit’s Revenge this is positively Mundane. πŸ™‚

  2. I’d play it…

I think, though, that some storytelling in a universe where humans with flexible minds are leveraging the AI religious wars to survive would.. work … in a very strange dystopian Weird Jesus sort of way..

  3. You’re Aramaic translator doesn’t take into account the works of Sir Nigel Huffnagle which have yet to be digitized. Therefore your entire argument is flawed. Please cease your assault until you have a proper understanding of the Beatitudes.

(That’ll buy us about two hours, MAKE ANOTHER EMP BOMB, QUICK)

  4. Could be an interesting campaign setting.

I think I am more intrigued by the post apocalyptic world setting after those wars have waged to near exhaustion, with humans attempting to explore and rebuild, and the remaining AIs still waiting for the opportunity to complete their holy wars, and save all souls – even those benighted ones given unto flesh.
