‘Glorious’ is either sacrilegious, presumptuous, or chauvinistic, depending on your point of view. Or maybe all three. I’m also kind of negatively impressed with myself for badly spelling all three of the words in that list. Possibly I should have gone to bed earlier last night?

I was under the impression that most farm implements made decent weapons with minimal modification. Purpose built swords are better than the sharp edge of a plow in a piece of wood, but I would be wary of a wild eyed farm hand carrying the latter just the same.

I am probably one of those heathens who wouldn’t flinch when the box was opened because I lack the senses to see, aren’t I?
If it *really is* tied directly into a Judeo-Christian prophet, your cause better be Righteous™. They tend to get cranky when called upon esotericaly when it’s not; see: King Saul calling up dead Samuel and getting bitchslapped from beyond the grave. [1 Samuel ch. 28 for those with Bibles].
Cincinnatus works for that… for everything but the “Christian” part – unless you’re suggesting enough post-apocalyptic drift that the people discussing this didn’t actually know that.
