My modem apparently blew and I can’t get a technician out this afternoon or tomorrow, so: no Internet before Tuesday. Not really Comcast’s fault, by the way: they could send somebody out this morning, but my kid had a dentist’s appointment; and they could send somebody out on Saturday, but we’re traveling. At any rate: I’m typing this on my Chromebook in a McDonald’s and I’m going to be largely off the grid until next Tuesday. Everybody have a good holiday!

PS: There will be Internet at the place that we’re going to, so: semi-hiatus.
Have fun, Moe! Where are you off to?
Enjoy being semi-unplugged, Moe.
Is announcing to all the spammers and scammers you are semi-unmoderated very wise?
My experience with net at McD’s has been sub-optimal, generally.
Have a good weekend, though!
This is one of the reasons why I buy my own cable modems. Modem dies? Just go to the store and get another one. Inexpensive compared to the rental fees cable companies charge.
After the DTs pass, I hear it’s a good thing.
Not that I’d know.
