The ‘Hotel Artemis’ trailer… announcement?

God, this stuff gets more complicated every year.

Anyway, Hotel Artemis looks like something out of John Wick, only everybody involved had been up all night making poor life choices. Please do not take that as a criticism, because it is not meant as one. There’s a surprisingly decent cast involved here and I am hopeful that it will be fun.  Then again, I am notoriously easy to please.

The new Ocean’s 8 trailer.

I’m gonna wait until the reviews are in, but this trailer doesn’t take Ocean’s 8 off of the list.

Basically, it’s a gimmick film where I don’t mind the gimmick. Do an all-woman heist caper flick? Sure, go ahead.  I’m sure that the plot will be absurd, but then Ocean’s 11 at one point required the team to set off an electromagnetic pulse in order to make the caper work. Bad Medicine is the collection of medical-themed Mythos and Poe stories: “Cool Air,” “The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar,” and “The Picture in the House.” Admittedly, the last one is perhaps a bit of a stretch when we’re talking medical. But certainly anatomy is involved.

I’m getting the CD itself, but check out the MP3 version. HPLH’s Dark Adventure Radio Theater productions are a favorite of mine. I mean, they must be: I’m not even trying to get a cut of the sale.
