More or less off for the day.
Driving down to Virginia for an event. Seeded the site with a couple of posts, though, just for the heck of it. Free ice cream back online by Sunday night.
Traveling AGAIN…
…second stage; not certain of Internet access on the other end, either (it was either bring the laptop or bring another load of kid supplies, and, well…).
Ah, the siren call of cable TV.
I miss it not; and yet, when it and its infinite legions of crap calls unto me I cannot look away.
Axelrod on vacation?
Or does he just not care?
That’s from the Whitehouse.gov site, and as Kristinn Taylor of BigGovernment.com helpfully points out the message that this administration apparently wishes to convey with this is… interesting. Something along these lines:

Have a nice day.
President Barack Obama.
I really wish that the White House staff would learn to take better care of the President’s public image – or even any care at all. It’s embarrassing to all of us.

Yup, Thanksgiving baby.
Tentatively nicknamed ‘Beep’ – at least by me and my sister-in-law. Baby boy, 8 lb, 5 oz, 20 inches long, born last night. Three hour delivery, and everybody’s doing fine.
Posting is going to be pretty much nonexistent for the next couple of days; then again, it’s Thanksgiving weekend.
Still here, still no baby…
…still pretty much taking some time off.
No music tonight…
…sorry, folks, but real life is intruding. Not that; I’m just beat.
No, still no baby.
It’s just Sunday.
Playing hooky. Nothing’s going to happen today, anyway.
It’s Sunday, it’s a beautiful, clear, crisp day out, I have to put up a board or two on the back fence, I’m behind on a variety of geek-stuff content, and all the male power players in American politics are scheduling last-minute golf games (and who can blame them?).
So… fresh air.
