…Dammit, HELLDIVERS 2 looks like a lot of fun. For Twenty Years Younger Me, because I don’t think I have the reflexes for this. See, this is why we need to get chips in our heads.

The PALWORLD Honest Game Trailer.
Honest Trailers clearly liked it, despite it being fairly evil. Or maybe because? Either way, buy PALWORLD now, because my GOD but they’re gonna get sued into oblivion.
The CYBERPUNK 2077: PHANTOM LIBERTY Honest Game Trailer.
I loaded it up just long enough to make sure that everything ported over properly to the new solid state drive*. I will be playing CYBERPUNK 2077: PHANTOM LIBERTY… later. I’m just really, really deep in STARFIELD right now. That’s how it goes.
*And ran a gig or two. You know. I needed to get a feel for how much they nerfed quickhacking. Turned out it was quite a bit, dammit. Alas, old quickhacking was ridiculously overpowered, not that I cared.
The ultimately depressing WEREWOLF: THE APOCALYPSE: EARTHBLOOD Honest Game Trailer.
Depressing because, yeah, the gameplay looks pretty bad.
I kinda wanted this one not to suck. I also wanted VtM: Bloodlines 2 to come out this year, too, so it’s not been a great week for World of Darkness news.
THE OUTER WORLDS Honest Game Trailer.
They absolutely nail it at one point: THE OUTER WORLDS is as much FIREFLY as it is old-school Fallout. I had that thought myself, halfway through the game. And that was all right with me.
The CONTROL Honest Game Trailer.
Gotta admit: I’m seriously considering CONTROL now. I mean, it looks like one of the good ones. The really good ones.
But sixty bucks is sixty bucks. Maybe with the Christmas money.
The Detective Pikachu Honest Game Trailer.
I know that people were having difficulty believing that Detective Pikachu is really a thing, but it was a video game and everything (video from April).
The Monster Hunter: World Honest Game Trailer.
Dang. Now I want to play Monster Hunter: World:
I actually can’t, because it won’t be out on PC until the fall. Which is weird. But when it does come out I’m probably there. It looks totally sweet.
The Cuphead Honest Game Trailer.
I dunno whether Screen Junkies itself is going to survive creator Andy Signore’s firing for alleged sexual harassment and assault, but Cuphead got an Honest Game Trailer from Smosh Games. The use of a different voice-over person in that one was apparently just a temporary aesthetic choice, at least according to EpicVoiceGuy himself. So there’s that.
By the way, this was a very useful trailer. I was actually contemplating whether I want to play Cuphead. I’m getting the impression that the answer to that would be Not if I value the good opinion of everyone close to me…
Now I kind of want to get a PS4.
Apparently Infamous is quite the game to play.
