Movie of the Week: The Eagle has Landed.

Yeah, I know: Inception was starting to get stale. I picked The Eagle Has Landed mostly because of this inside-blogball political piece demonstrating that there ain’t nothing so stupid that you can’t get a Media Matters for America hack like Eric Boehlert to confidently argue its side, but that’s not really relevant. It’s a good flick – and if you don’t get the joke, well, I guess that means that you need to see the movie, huh?

Just watched Inception for the first time, actually.

And so good-bye to Die Hard. Yeah, I know, took me long enough.

Blogging called on account of Inception.

Yeah, finally got around to watching it, thanks to Netflix. Always weird to see Leonardo DiCaprio, you know, act and stuff. Yeah, yeah, I know: that’s old news. But still.

Anyway: did Leoncardo DiCaprio stop sucking as an actor while I wasn’t paying attention? He doesn’t normally star in films that I’d watch – Gangs of New York was the last one, I think (and, come to think of it, he was good in it) – but he seems to be continuing to have a decent career, which suggests a certain competence.
