…and so very, very potentially expensive. Still, I’m sure at some point I’ll be able to pick up the Mark VI; until then, I can fake the Mark III-B and the Ogrethulhu that I do have for the Marks III and V, respectively.
Because, well, it was about time I painted some of these OGRE miniatures.

You will note that there are no photos. That’s because the first batch came out… well. There was what was in my head, and then there was what ended up on the miniatures, and then there was the dimensional portal that suddenly opened up and brought the whole thing to the Elemental Plane of Bad Paint Jobs.
Before we go any further: remember, if you find this behavior to be pathetically yet hilariously geeky, entertainingly sad, and/or usefully time-wasting of me, you can encourage my folly via hitting the tip jar.

…It’s funny, really: I never did the whole miniatures-painting thing when I was younger (my wife did, though*). But as it turns out that I have a bunch of unpainted OGRE minis, and since I’m going to have Fifteen Pounds of OGRE later in the year, it behooves me to start painting this stuff up now.
So, what’s a good online resource for that sort of thing?
