Thank God. And may I note in passing that crap like that is not actually funny? – Charles Manson killed people in a manner calculated to disgust and dismay.  Suggesting that even Moonbeam Brown would release him over budget cuts is perilously close to slander/libel.

No one is dumb enough to grant an uber murderer parole for some political reason nor consider the consequences of letting said person go, amirite?
It depends on whether you consider the “Taliban factor”. That allows a Democrat to grant such release. Whether Jerry Brown has more sense [moral, intellectual, or political] than Buraq Hussein is a judgment call.
Doing some research on it… Manson was already up for parole a couple of years ago and Brown said HAHAHA NFW (he has the ability to that in CA: I don’t know whether Brown has it generally, or just for Charles Manson). I don’t like Moonbeam, but he’s not politically suicidal, apparently.
I’m pretty sure Moonbeam at least attempted political suicide a couple of decades ago ( even Hollywood was open with their loathing of him afterwards)
And apparently didn’t enjoy the experience.
So no he’s not politically suicidal now
