plus – scavenge the HECK out of the Wasteland, and get perks that let you build mods for your favorite weapon(s).
Also, don’t let a settlement grow until YOU want it to, forget what the game says. Settlers are a needy and frustrating lot!

I will say that once you get past the crap tier guns and apply some simple mods, the twitch run and gun gameplay is pleasantly good. But fast moving enemies are always a challenge, so VATS is a life saver.
And don’t be afraid to use Jet to give yourself bullet time outside of VATS.
No! Drugs are bad. mmmkay? Just say no to Jet!
