Frozen Dreams Working Draft Process, Day Six: 7 Chapters / 15,262 words.

I didn’t really need to really work on Chapter 7 for Frozen Dreams, because I already had.  Feel free to pass around this Patreon link to anybody and everybody, by the way.  Feel free.

Snippet:

“What are you, Dory?”

She looked at me. “A woman who needs you to not solve a murder, Shamus.”

I looked at her, honestly shocked. “Dory. You know the Code. I can’t walk away from a murder. Some goon dead in an alley with blood on his knife, sure. Punk pulled out of the Gulf after a icemold deal went bad, well, that’s a shame. A room full of stiffs after they all tried to rob each other, aw, too bad, somebody know who their mothers were? But this is a murder. There’s a dead girl on the slab, and whatever she was mixed up in, that’s too much.”
