I will not speak ill of other people’s decisions with regard to cranberry sauce. This is America. You do not need my permission to be wrong.

…but it’s gotta be Whole Berry. None of that debased “gel-only” …*drek*. And none of those freaky fancy flavorings. I once had blob-from-the can cranberry sauce that some lunatic had made cranberry-orange, and it was *awful*.

…but, still, it is as you say. The good old US of A is all about the freedom for the other guy to be flat wrong on many, many things, and I do cherish those rights.

This is America.
We aren’t limited to having just one type of cranberry sauce on the table.
Or on our plates.
I will have a place of honor for the jellied blob, and the freshly made shall be ladled over my slices of turkey.
I might even put some of one or the other on my rolls, because it’s just that good.

Goes alright with peanut butter between two slices of toast.
