Wow. That place is relentlessly and *hilariously* anti-time travel. “Most people do not care to speculate too strongly about that question, as doing so tends to end in a bad case of CONTAGIOUS SUICIDAL IDEATION.” Oh my flipping goodness.

Though it does suggest that the game is inherently liminal – after the easy ones have all been snapped up, but while there are still a fair number of anomalies out there still to find… and that suggests that we’d eventually get to a point where everything had stabilized again… and perhaps eventually people might mostly forget, or cease to care so strongly, and whatever it is that is utterly savaging the ability of time travelers to enter this time would relax or decay, and the eventually Time War might start up again, with the time travelers in general accepting that there’s some sort of temporal event horizon that you just can’t go past for inexplicable reasons (actual reason: if you try, then absolutely everything will *eat you*).
