I don’t think I’ve seen/heard anyone refer to Facebook as Meta.
The X/Twitter thing seems to have been moderately more successful, but (IMO) was still a dumb thing to abandon a perfectly good, well known brand name in favor of a single letter (one that for at least some of us, was already taken)
